The Joy of Writing hosted by Chris Hatfield - Primary writing session. Grade 1-3
April 10 3:15 – 4:15pm @ Ocean Grove Elementary.

Join Chris and other grade 1 teachers to learn about how to engage students in literacy and writing through book making. There will be a discussion of how and why to make books with students, Chris will share books she has made with students including The Pigeon, Elephant and Piggie and a Fly Guy book. ABC, Scary Books, Guess the B.C. Animal, Guess What’s in the Stocking, Fairy Tales, Star Wars, Guess What’s in the Egg, Who Would Win, Graphic Novels (The Bad Guys, Cat Wad) Educators will have a chance to draft their own story while in session.

Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects.
