BEST PRACTICE USE
Students Over 13: CAN create an account using the SD72 Microsoft Account with informed consent.

Students Under 13: CAN NOT create an account - Parent Consent is required unless the teacher subscribes ($35 anual fee) and creates projects for students to access using a "Join code".
For Teachers:
Creating an Image in Thinglink
- Go to Thinklink.com and click on "Get Started" to create an account.
- Use your SD72 Microsoft email and password to create your account.
- You'll get a page asking for account type and you'll choose "Teacher".
- Create your content you will be sharing with your students. Click HERE to learn how.
OR - Use the "Explore" tab to search out already created images.
- When done, you can share it out to a website using the embed code.
OR - Share using a link.
OR - Share directly to a class Team.
IF you have subscribed to the Premium Teacher account, you can create a "course", add your students and have a space for student-created images to be handed-in.
For Students:
Accessing Teacher Created Image OR Join Code
- Access the image directly from the method provided by the teacher - website, link or class Team.
- Go to Thinglink.com. Sign in using your SD72 Microsoft email address and password.
- Use the Join Code provided by the teacher to access your specific assignment.
OTHER INFORMATION
Users, please note this resource:
- stores data in a server is outside of Canada.
- collects personal information (SD72 Microsoft email address, first & last name).
- collects computer information (IP address and location).
- teachers will need to purchase a $35 subscription in order to create projects for students to access.
